FAQ’s

When do I start looking for a wedding dress?

We advise that our brides start looking for their dream dress 10 – 12 months before tying the knot, and make the final decision around 8 – 10 months prior to the wedding. This allows us enough time to order the dress within the timeline and finalize the necessary dress alterations stress-free! For last minute brides: We always have a rack available with sample sales that can be bought as is and at a discount. Also, most of our designers offer rush orders, but keep in mind this could incur an extra charge.

Who should I take with me?

Selecting a wedding dress is a special moment and it is normal that brides wish to experience this with loved ones. Make sure you bring people you who know you best and whose opinion matters.  Our advice is to limit your bridal party to a maximum of 3 people (bride included). In our experience finding the right dress can become very overwhelming when too many people (and opinions) are involved. Our goal is to offer you an intimate and cozy atmosphere where you feel comfortable and can choose the right gown for you.

Is it necessary to make an appointment and how long will my appointment take?

For fittings it is necessary to book an appointment. For the first fitting appointment, you should plan between 1.5 and 2 hours. This allows us enough time to get to know you and explore and try on the type of dress you are looking for.

How do I prepare for my fitting appointment?

To allow the appointment to be as constructive as possible, make sure to have researched your preferred style prior to coming. It would be a good idea to make a list of things you like and dislike and feel free to show us photos of styles you like. Try to wear subtle, seamless and nude color underwear on the day of your fitting. Also please be conscious not to wear heavy make-up in particular foundation, bronzer or concealer to avoid our dresses getting stained. We would also advise you not to wear jewelry which can damage the dresses.

Do we charge a fee for appointments?

Your first appointment is free of charge; however, any follow-up appointments will incur a 30 Eur consultation fee. Of course, as a commercial gesture, we will deduct this amount in case you end up purchasing your dress from our boutique.
